Dental Bridges

A dental bridge gets its name from the fact that it literally bridges the space left by one to three consecutive missing teeth. Crowns are placed on either side of the gap on the remaining teeth, and these are bonded to prosthetic teeth in the middle. Our bridges are designed not only to function well and make chewing/speaking easier, but we also consider aesthetics so that you can smile without having to worry about your restoration being noticeable.

Dentures

Today’s dentures are nothing like the ones your parents or grandparents might have had. Smaller, sleeker, and more comfortable and natural-looking, they can be used to bring back several teeth at once, including an entire row. Everything from the gum-colored acrylic base to the porcelain teeth is fully customized for each patient to ensure the ideal look, fit, and stability. And with Dr. Saphner, patients can even upgrade by having their new teeth be attached to dental implants.

We offer several types of dentures, including partial prosthetics and metal partial dentures that are meant to replace only a select few teeth instead of an entire mouthful. Interim partial dentures may be recommended as well for patients who are in need of a functional, temporary dental appliance while waiting on a more permanent solution for their tooth loss. Dr. Saphner will be happy to walk you through all the available options in plenty of detail and answer any questions you may have!

Dental Implants

Dental implants stand out among all other tooth replacements because they not only restore the visible portion of a tooth (crown), but also the underlying root. A small titanium post is placed within the jawbone and used to hold a crown, bridge, or denture, creating something that perfectly mimics nature in both its form and function. Dr. Saphner can complete all phases of the procedure in-house to deliver a predictable and seamless experience for our patients.

Full Mouth Reconstruction

For patients with several decayed, broken, and missing teeth, it can be tough to know what should be fixed first. With a full-mouth reconstruction, Dr. Saphner can address all of these issues with one cohesive treatment plan. It will use a personalized combination of restorative and cosmetic dentistry procedures to help someone reclaim their oral health and appearance at the same time, saving time while giving someone a fresh start for their oral health.

Temporary Flippers

A “flipper” tooth is a removable dental appliance that is designed to temporarily fill in a gap created by one or more lost teeth. It includes a pink plastic base and one or more “teeth” that are typically made of acrylic resin. Flippers are very helpful in that they can restore a patient’s smile and make it easier for them to speak and eat normally while they wait on the creation of their brand-new denture, bridge, or implant-retained prosthetic! They’re also relatively inexpensive, easy to clean and maintain, and adjustable as needed for a comfortable fit.
