Root Canal Treatment La Crosse
How We Make the Tooth Pain Stop

Most of the time, a cavity only involves damage to the outer portion of a tooth, the enamel. But sometimes the bacteria and/or trauma can affect the sensitive internal tissue known as the pulp. This is the cause of the worst toothaches, and rather than just removing a tooth, we can stop the pain and remove the infection with same-day root canal treatment in La Crosse. That’s right—this procedure is a pain-SOLUTION, not a cause! Give us a call today so we can make your toothache disappear.

What Happens During a Root Canal?

- We’ll evaluate your tooth to determine why it is hurting. If the pulp is damaged or infected, we’ll recommend a root canal.
- After numbing the area, a small hole will be placed in the enamel, and this will give us access to the pulp.
- Saphner will remove the tissue and clean/disinfect the area (this should make the pain go away!)
- The tooth will be filled, and then a crown will be placed on top to restore its strength. This can usually be done in a single appointment unlike most other offices!
